Ultra Violet – C Disinfection Technology was developed by the CSIR-Council of Scientific Instruments Organization under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The Government of India had put Ultra Violet – C Disinfection Technology for testing in Parliament, AC buses and trains. The technology is a huge success. Also, the technology is to be used during Election Commission of India poll meetings.
Ultra Violet C technology uses wavelength between 100 nm and 280 nm.
