Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Policy 2013

The STI policy is in furtherance of the following pronouncements made by the government:

• India has declared 2010-20 as the ‘Decade of Innovation.’
• Government has stressed the need to enunciate a policy to synergize science, technology and innovation.
• Government has established National Innovation Council.
• The policy aims to bring fresh perspectives on innovation in Indian context.

Need
