Ganga Utsav 2021

The 5th edition of Ganga Utsav-The River Festival 2021 was organized by National Mission for Clean Ganga with the Ministry of Jal Shakti to mark the anniversary of the announcement of River Ganga as the ‘National River’ on November 04, 2008.

• It is celebrated every year to connect masses to the cause of river rejuvenation and sensitize them about ecological issues through conversations and entertainment.

Continuous Learning and Activity Portal (CLAP)

• It was launched during the Ganga Utsav Event. It is an interactive portal that will work towards initiating conversations and action around the rivers in India.
