PARAKH: Recommendations to Standardise Evaluation Process
On 29th July, 2024, the Performance Assessment Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development (PARAKH), an independent unit of NCERT, submitted a report to the Ministry of Education suggesting to make evaluation practices consistent across all school boards.
- This recommendation is part of PARAKH's mandate, which aligns with the National Education Policy and includes capacity development, achievement surveys, equivalence of school boards, and common assessment standards.

- Classes 9-12: Incorporate performance from Classes 9, 10, and 11 into the Class 12 report card with specified weightages: 15% for Class 9, 20% for Class 10, 25% for Class ....
