• Improper Warehouses: In the villages, there are no suitable storing facilities. In order to store goods, the farmer is forced to employ trenches, mud vessels, "Kutcha" storehouses, etc. These illogical storage techniques result in a great deal of waste.
• Lack of Grading and Standardization: Different types of agricultural produce are not adequately rated due to a lack of grading and standardisation. The "dara" sales practise, in which a variety of produce is sold in a single lot, is one that is frequently used. The farmer who produces better characteristics is therefore not certain to receive a higher price. ....
