- Not based on Absolute Truth: Ostracizing a business or product could be seen as an expression of intolerance, especially if the assessment is subjective and not based on objective reality.
- Sentimentalism: Many customers choose to shun companies because of sentimentalism rather than reasoning, and they rarely consider the morality of certain behaviours from several angles.
