Wisdom Finds Truth
Aristotle considered wisdom, rather practical wisdom, as an excellent dispositional state of the intellectual and rational part of the soul. He considered it as a state that enable its possessor to attain truth, by getting things right in action in the sphere of what is good or bad for human beings. So, in a larger sense, practical wisdom is supposed to carry with it, possession of all the virtues. Thus, as opined by several philosophical thinkers, attainment of practical wisdom requires experiences, of both good and difficult times, in one’s life as well as learning from those of the others.
