  • Rani Durgavati: She ruled Gondwana from 1548 to 1564.
    • The Mughal emperor Akbar invaded and conquered Gondwana in 1564.
    • Chand Bibi was also known as Chand Khatoon or Chand Sultana.
    • She served as the regent of Bijapur (1596–1599) and Ahmednagar (1580–1590).
    • In 1599, Akbar's forces captured the Ahmednagar fort, and she was killed by his soldiers.
  • Turkan-i-Chahalgani: It was a council of 40 Turkish and non-Turkish slaves who administered the Delhi Sultanate as per the wishes of Iltutmish.
