Tamil Nadu Kasanoi Erappila Thittam (TB Death-free Project)
- It was launched in April 2022 in 2,500 public healthcare facilities that diagnosed TB in 30 districts.
- It is based on the guidelines ‘Differentiated TB Care’ that assesses whether people with TB need ambulatory care in a health facility to manage illness during diagnosis.
- Assessment is done on the basis of 16 parameters.
- 3 conditions- very severe undernutrition, respiratory insufficiency, and inability to stand without support were used to identify diagnosis and patients were admitted in a healthcare ....
