Right to Travel

Right to travel is the freedom of movement, which is one of the six fundamental freedoms in the Constitution of India.

  • Constitutional Provisions: The right to move freely throughout the territory of India is bestowed under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution; however, the right to travel abroad has been derived from the right to life and personal liberty provided under Article 21.
