The Prime Ministers of India and Canada met on the side lines of the G-7 Summit in June 2022 and the Foreign Ministers have regular dialogues.

  • A Parliamentary delegation from India, led by the Speaker of Lok Sabha visited Canada in August 2022.
  • India’s Minister of Civil Aviation visited Canada from 2-4 May, 2022, and met the Canadian Minister of Transport.
  • Minister of International Trade of Canada co-chaired the Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment with India’s Commerce and Industry Minister on 11 March, 2022, in Delhi.
  • So far, four rounds of negotiations for the India-Canada EPTA/CEPA have been held ....
