India-Russia 21st Inter-Governmental Defence Meeting
On 10th December 2024, India’s Defence Minister co-chaired the 21st meeting of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military and Military Technical Cooperation (IRIGC-M&MTC) with Russian Defence Minister in Moscow.

- Productive Discussions: Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening defence cooperation, focusing on the operationalisation of the Military Technical Cooperation agreement for 2021-31.
- Make in India Collaboration: Defence Minister emphasised India’s resolve to expand its domestic defence industry and invited Russian industries to participate in Make in India projects.
