  • The Atlas uses Geographic Information System (GIS) tools, providing district maps on hazard events and vulnerability for all calendar months and annually.
  • Hazard maps are based on climatological data, census data, and various statistical and mathematical methods, aiming to offer impact-based early warning services.
  • The vulnerability atlas for heat waves reveals that 13% of districts and 15% of the population are moderately to very highly vulnerable.
