'Vidyut Rakshak'
- On 10th June, 2024, the Indian Army launched 'Vidyut Rakshak', an integrated generator monitoring, protection, and control system developed by the Army Design Bureau (ADB).
- 'Vidyut Rakshak' utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor and control generator parameters across all types and ages of generators in the Indian Army.
- It enables fault prediction, prevention, and automates manual operations, significantly reducing manpower requirements.
- During Aero India 2023, an MoU was signed between the Indian Army and IIT Delhi's Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) for production and transfer of innovations, including 'Vidyut ....
