National Culture Fund
- The Government established the National Culture Fund (NCF) as a Trust on November 28, 1996, under the Charitable Endowment Act, 1890.
- NCF aims to mobilize additional resources through Public Private Partnerships (PPP) for promoting, protecting, and preserving India’s cultural heritage.
- NCF and partnering agencies enter into MoUs for agreed projects, with NCF ensuring project implementation according to norms.
- Donors/sponsors have flexibility in indicating a project, specific location/aspect, and implementing agency for project execution.
