DRDO's Green Propulsion System Aces In-Orbit Test

Recently, a green propulsion system, developed by Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Technology Development Fund (TDF) scheme, has proven its effectiveness in orbit on a payload launched by PSLV C-58.

  • Developed by Bengaluru-based start-up Bellatrix Aerospace Pvt Ltd, the 1N Class Green Monopropellant thruster aims for altitude control and orbit keeping of microsatellites.
