ABHYAS: High-speed Expendable Aerial Target
- Abhyas is a High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) being developed by DRDO. It is similar to a drone and is designed for autonomous flying with the help of an autopilot. It has RCS (Radar Cross Section), Visual and IR (Infrared) augmentation systems required for weapon practice.
- The fuselage for the Abhyas consists of five sections, namely the nose cone, equipment bay, fuel tank bay, air intake bay and tail cone.
