UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics (UN-CEBD)

It was created in March 2014 under the UN Statistical Commission (as UN Global Working Group on Big Data for Official Statistics (UNGWG))
It provides a strategic vision, direction and coordination for a global programme on big data for official statistics. Capacity development receives special attention in this context and is one key output of all UNCEBD activities.
