Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2025

On 20th November 2024, India retained its position in the top 10 on the Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2025, ranking 10th among 63 countries assessed for efforts to combat climate change.

Despite a slight drop in ranking compared to the previous year, India continues to perform well due to its low per-capita emissions and rapid deployment of renewable energy.
