Rubber Board Offers Export Incentive

On 15th March, Rubber Board announced Rs 5/kg incentive for rubber exports, aimed at increasing domestic rubber prices.

Export incentive limited to 40 metric tons per exporter, valid until June, with maximum payout of Rs 2 lakh.
Move comes as domestic rubber price lags behind international rates, causing concern among Kerala farmers.
International rubber price exceeds Rs 228/kg, while domestic price stagnates at Rs 180/kg.
National Consortium of Rubber Producer Societies criticized the incentive as insufficient to address price disparity.
