IRCTC Launches Ramayana Circuit Tour Post Ram Temple Inauguration

Following the unveiling of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, on 4th February, 2024, IRCTC introduced an extensive tour program highlighting pilgrimage sites mentioned in the Ramayana.

- Commencement of Tours: The inaugural tour began on February 4, featuring 122 tourists from the United Kingdom, Portugal, and India. The itinerary covers significant sites such as the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Bharat-Hanuman Temple, Janaki Mandir, and others.
- Customized Tours: IRCTC organizes these tours upon special request from tourist groups, offering them a curated experience of sacred destinations mentioned in the Ramayana.
- Tour Itinerary: The 19-day tour encompasses a wide array of religious sites, including Ganga-Yamuna sangam, Shringi Rishi Samadhi, Gupt Godavari, Panchvati, Anjanadri Hill, Dhanushkodi, Anjaneya Swamy Temple, and Ramtek Fort.
