SACRED – Senior Able Citizens for Re-Employment in Dignity
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is developing a portal known as SACRED. It stands for Senior Able Citizens for Re-Employment in Dignity.
It is an IT portal to be developed to bring job seeking senior citizens and employment providers on one platform for ensuring that the Senior Citizens live a healthy, happy, empowered, dignified and self-reliant life. It will be developed with the help of National informatics Centre (NIC).
Voluntary Organizations will help the senior citizens in applying for the jobs without the payment of any user charge.
