Major Ocean Currents

Equatorial Currents System: Every ocean, with the exception of the Arctic Ocean, features distinct oceanic currents known as the North Equatorial Current, South Equatorial Current, and Equatorial Counter Current. Both the North and South equatorial currents exhibit an east-to-west flow pattern.
