Hyperloop System
The foundation of hyperloop technology is the concept of a vacuum train for more rapid and effective transportation.
- It consists of airtight compartments known as pods that are used to transport people or cargo through airless tubes and tunnels.
- Pods are propelled through the tube using electricity.
- Magnetic levitation (maglev) keeps each pod hovering above the track while pods are in motion. Low-pressure tubes reduce aerodynamic drag.
