CA|TS Status to Six Tiger Reserves

  • Six tiger reserves across the country have been accorded international Conservation Assured Tiger Standards (CA|TS)-approved status. Of the 53 tiger reserves in the country, 23 have now achieved the CA|TS.
  • The six new tiger reserves in the CA|TS club include Tadoba-Andhari, Melghat, Navegaon-Nagzira in Maharashtra, Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, Kali in Karnataka, and Periyar in Kerala.
