Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act 2020
The Haryana government’s law, which provides 75% reservation for local youth in private sector jobs that offer a salary of less than ₹30,000 a month, came into force on January 15th, 2022.
Salient Features
- Applicability: The Bill applies to: (i) all companies, partnership firms, societies, trusts, limited liability partnership firms, (ii) any person employing 10 or more persons.It does not apply to the central or state government, or any organisation owned by them.It will be in force for a period of 10 years.
- Reservation for Local Candidates: All such employers must provide 75% of new jobs with a gross monthly salary ....
