First India-Central Asia Summit
On 27th January, 2022, India’s Prime Minister hosted the first India-Central Asia Summit in virtual format.
About the Summit
- The first India-Central Asia Summit coincided with the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Central Asian countries.
- It was attended by Presidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan.
- In the summit, the next steps in taking India-Central Asia relations to new heights were discussed.

- To make it clear that cooperation between India and Central Asia is essential for regional security and prosperity;
