On 24th April, 2024, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released recommendations on ‘Telecommunication Infrastructure Sharing, Spectrum Sharing, and Spectrum Leasing’.
Aim
- Extending the benefits of telecommunication coverage in underserved areas to more than one telecom service providers through effective utilization of Government funded infrastructure.
- Reducing the hardship being faced by the subscribers due to connectivity issues of the home network provider.
