  • The Gulf of Khambhat, also known as the Gulf of Cambay, is located on the west coast of India, in the state of Gujarat.This inlet of the Arabian Sea has a distinctive funnel shape.
  • It acts as a natural divider, separating the large Saurashtra Peninsula from the mainland of Gujarat.
