- Recently, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) mandated the linkage of CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) beneficiary ID with the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) ID.
- The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) was established in 1954 and offers comprehensive medical care to Central Government employees, pensioners, and other eligible groups such as the Legislature, Judiciary, Executive, Press, and Freedom Fighters.
