Need
- For Improved Human Resource Management: Privatization will assist in the introduction of professional management. PSBs are severely disadvantaged in comparison to their market competitors due to a severe human capital shortage. Their personnel compensation package, skill sets, skewed age profile, constrained deployment, and inefficient performance management system are all contributing factors.
- Decision-making Autonomy: In the current climate, government control and meddling preclude PSBs from remaining competitive. As a result, they will continue to be hampered by antiquated systems and procedures. Faster decision-making will be facilitated by a high level of autonomy, allowing for more creativity and knowledge.
