Climate Change: The planet’s climate has constantly been changing over geological time. The global average temperature today is about 150C, though geological evidence suggests it has been much higher and lower in the past. Climate change means a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods
