Increase in Casual Leave for Women Employees
- Recently, the Odisha government increased the casual leave (CL) entitlement for women employees to 27 days annually, adding 12 extra days for menstrual leave.
- Previously, women employees in Odisha were entitled to 10 additional CL days since March 2024, to accommodate family responsibilities and health challenges. This has now been raised by 2 days.
- Women employees can now avail of 12 additional CL days, at a rate of one day per month, specifically for menstrual leave. ....
