RBI Launches Three New Initiatives
On 29th May, 2024, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched three major initiatives: 1. PRAVAAH portal, 2. Retail Direct Mobile App and 3.FinTech Repository.
- Aim: Enhancing public access to the central bank and facilitating regulatory approvals and transactions.
The Initiatives
1. ‘PRAVAAH’ (Platform for Regulatory Application, VAlidation And AutHorisation) Portal
- It is a secure and centralized web-based portal for any individual or entity to seek authorization, license, or regulatory approval on any reference made by it to the Reserve Bank.
- Application Forms: At present, 60 application forms covering different regulatory and supervisory departments of RBI have been made available on the ....
