Zoram Mega Food Park
On 20th July, 2020, the government inaugurated the Zoram Mega Food Park (MFP) in Mizoram.
Key Points
- Located in Khamrang village in Kolasib District, this is the first Mega Food Park operationalized in the State of Mizoram.
- It is an integrated project which provides infrastructure and services for food processing across the value chain to maximize value addition and minimize wastage.
- The project is being executed under the Mega Food Park Scheme of the Ministry of Food Processing.
Expected Benefits
- Employment Generation: The Park will help provide direct and indirect employment to 5,000 persons and benefit about 25,000 farmers in the ....
