Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records System
On 23rd September, 2021, in order to prevent delays in releasing prisoners after bail has been granted, the Supreme Court approved an electronic system called FASTER (Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records) for transferring e-authenticated copies from courts to prisons.
- Under the FASTER system, courts can send e-authenticated copies of bail orders, stay orders, interim orders and proceedings through secured electronic communication to duty officers at prisons.
