The first ‘Quadrilateral Security Dialogue’, also known as the Quad leaders' virtual summit took place on 12th March, 2021.
- A joint statement, titled ‘The Spirit of the Quad’ was presented after the summit.
Key Highlights
Quad Vaccine Partnership
- The leaders finalised a landmark initiative under which huge investments will be made in India to create additional production capacities to roll out a billion coronavirus vaccine doses by 2022 for exports to the Indo-Pacific region.
- Quad partners will also cooperate to strengthen “last-mile” vaccination, building on existing health-security and development programs, and across our governments to coordinate and strengthen our programs in ....
