5-member committee under Nandan Nilekani: RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das appointed a 5-member committee under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani to further deepen the digital payments and enhance financial inclusion through Fintech.

  • RBI has requested the committee to provide recommendations within 3 months.

Amitabh Kant to Head Transformative Mobility Panel: The Union Cabinet on March 7th has approved setting up of the National Mission on Transformative Mobility and Battery Storage, which will be headed by NITI Aayog CEO Ambitabh Kant.

  • The terms of reference of the mission include ensuring implementation and compliance of the decisions and recommendations of the steering committee.
