- Assam Rifles has built a war memorial in Nagaland for 357 martyrs at Mokokchung, which is also the cultural and intellectual centre of Nagaland. This memorial is the first of its kind in Nagaland, which also has the famous Second World War Cemetery at Kohima.
India’s First War Memorial of Service Animals
- India’s first war memorial for service animals- dogs, horses, mules will come up at the Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC) Centre and College in Meerut where the army breeds, rears, and trains dogs, mules and horses. Approval from the defence ministry is expected soon.
