NPPA Slashes prices of 9 Non-Scheduled Cancer Drugs

On 20th May, 2019, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under the ministry of chemicals and fertilizers, reduced the price of 9 anti-cancer non-scheduled medicines by up to 87 %.

  • The new list of drugs is in continuation to the government’s efforts to curb profiteering on these vital drugs and to make cancer cure affordable for patients and their families.
