First Observation of Fast Radio Burst in Galaxy

After more than a decade of detective work, astronomers have found the source and genesis of fast radio bursts, or FRBs. NASA has observed a mix of X-ray and radio signals, never observed before in the Milky Way. Therefore, it is the first fast radio burst (FRB) seen within the galaxy.
