Luhri Hydropower Project
- On 4th November, 2020, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved 210 MW Luhri Stage-I hydro-electric project in Himachal Pradesh.
- The project is located on River Satluj in Shimla and Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh.
- It is being implemented by state-run Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL) on Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (BOOM) basis with active support from Government of India and State Government.
- The plant is expected to generate 758.20 million units of electricity annually.
