Tribunals: Need Freedom from the Executive

When the Central Government is the largest litigant before the tribunals constituted under various statutes and has an overwhelming say on the appointment process to the tribunals; executive has a controlling authority over diverse facets of the tribunals; it would be destructive of judicial independence which constitutes a basic feature of the Constitution.
