Global Hunger Index 2021

On 14th October, 2021, Global Hunger Index 2021 was released jointly by the Irish aid agency ‘Concern Worldwide’ and German organisation ‘Welthungerhilfe’.

Key Findings

Fight against Hunger is Dangerously off Track

  • The Index points to a dire hunger situation fueled by a toxic cocktail of the climate crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and increasingly severe and protracted violent conflicts.
