Swachh Survekshan League (SSL) 2020
- On 6th June, 2019, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation launched Swachh Survekshan League, 2020.
- SSL 2020 will be a quarterly cleanliness assessment of cities and towns in India and will be integrated with Swachh Survekshan 2020.
- Ranks will be assigned in two categories,: cities with a population of one lakh and above cities with a population of less than one lakh.
Objectives
- To encourage large scale citizen participation.
- To ensure sustainability of initiatives taken towards garbage free and open defecation free cities.
- To provide credible outcomes validated by third party certification.
- To institutionalize existing systems through online processes and create awareness amongst ....
