On 20th February 2025, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) introduced the Technology Adoption Fund (TAF) with a Rs. 500 crore corpus to support India’s space startups and reduce reliance on imports.

- Funding Structure: Up to 60% of project costs for startups/MSMEs and 40% for larger industries, with a cap of Rs. 25 crore per project.
- Objective: To accelerate indigenous space technology development and commercialization.

- Eligibility: Open to Non-Government Entities (NGEs) ready to demonstrate commercial potential.
