On 16th September, 2024, Union Commerce and Industry Minister launched BHASKAR, an interactive online platform, aimed at enhancing India's already booming startup ecosystem.

- BHASKAR Launch: The Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) will be launched on Monday to streamline collaboration and centralize resources among key stakeholders like startups, investors, mentors, and service providers.
- Key Features: BHASKAR will offer personalised IDs for every stakeholder, enabling networking, collaboration, and resource discovery.
- It will also facilitate cross-border partnerships, promoting India's global reputation as a hub for innovation.
- Government’s Commitment: The initiative reflects the government's dedication to strengthening the startup ecosystem, with over 1.46 lakh registered startups and 110 unicorns contributing to India's growing influence in global entrepreneurship.
- Startup India Success: Launched in 2016, the Startup India initiative has helped propel India to the third-largest startup ecosystem globally, supporting over 12 lakh jobs and contributing to the country’s innovation-driven economic growth.
