US-India 2+2 Intersessional Dialogue

On 16th September, 2024, India and the United States held the US-India 2+2 Intersessional Dialogue in New Delhi, focusing on key regional and global issues.

The dialogue, held on September 17, 2024, included discussions on the Indo-Pacific region, the conflict in Ukraine, and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Key areas of focus included advancing defence cooperation, enhancing space and civil aviation collaboration, and promoting clean energy and industrial logistics coordination.
The officials discussed strategies to support a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and emphasized the need for a ceasefire and humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
Both delegations reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral partnerships and expanding people-to-people connections.
The dialogue aimed to align on shared priorities and prepare for the forthcoming high-level meeting between Modi and Biden.
