On 10th September 2024, the High Commission of India announced the 12th review meeting of the Greater Male Connectivity Project (GMCP), co-chaired by Ambassador Munu Mahawar and attended by Maldives Minister Abdulla Muththalib, at Videsh Bhavan in Mumbai.
- This is the first time the review meeting has been held in India, symbolizing the strong partnership and commitment to the flagship development cooperation project between the two nations.
