CAG and UAE Sign MoU for Audit Cooperation

On 2nd September 2024, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Accountability Authority to enhance cooperation and professional capacity in public sector auditing.

The MoU aims to promote collaboration between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of India and the UAE, focusing on strengthening professional capacity and improving auditing methodologies.
Both institutions committed to exchanging knowledge and experiences in public auditing and conducting capacity development programs as needed, either in India or the UAE.
The MoU is expected to create opportunities for greater knowledge exchange and foster a spirit of cooperation and friendship between the audit institutions of both nations.
